Meet our wonderful horses who love to ensure guests and visitors alike enjoy their wonderful rides throughout the Medicine Bow National Forrest. Millie and Bell are sisters born two years apart. Millie is eight and loves sporting her black and white paint coat. Bell is six and unlike her sister she sports a brown and white paint coat. Speedy is a five year old horse, he’s great with people and loves to get up and go. Tex, is a white Appaloosa horse, he’s small but strong, and is the clown of the bunch. Molasses or AKA “Spirit” is a big brown dun who is a favorite among the guests and especially the kids. Rock, is an amazing horse whose name reflects on him well as he looks like a huge rock. He’s fun to ride and don’t let his appearance fool you, he doesn’t move at a snail’s pace. Geronimo is a wonderful chestnut horse who likes to make sure everyone’s paying attention. If you’re not careful he’ll slip out of his bridle. Every ranch has to have a ladies man meet our trio of ladies men. Hector Louise Gonzalo fills that position well especially when it comes to the little ladies. He is smaller in stature than Geronimo but definitely resembles him in looks. Murray, is a sorrel and likes to follow in Hectors footsteps, he also enjoys entertaining the ladies and ensuring they have a wonderful ride. Rounding out our trio is Popcorn, no worries he doesn’t pop, the ladies love popcorn he’s easy to ride and smooth sailing. Meet brothers Chip and Dale. Both horses are sturdy, black and easy going. Although Dale’s younger he’s grown to be Chip’s bigger younger brother. Dollar is possibly the largest horse we have here at the ranch. He’s easy to ride, and he can carry his own, no weight restrictions for him. Strawberry, is big in stature but prefers to take thing slower, he lives true to his name and is a sweetie. Chopper, is a white horse who likes to get up and go; and is perfect for our more advanced riders. Scooter, is a great all around horse, he is a sorrel and enjoys making sure everyone has a great time.
